ContractKMS is a subscription-based client/server service offered by Collaborare, LLC. More information about Collaborare is available at www.collaborare-soft.com. Within the text of this policy, Collaborare answers the following questions:

What online information practices does this privacy policy cover?
This policy applies to the ContractKMS service offered by Collaborare for the organization that is Collaborare’s customer. (Information related to each of Collaborare’s customers is maintained in separate databases by Collaborare.) Organiza¬tions can use ContractKMS to track contractual language and/or changes to contractual language across an enterprise in an easily retrievable format.
What information is collected by this online application?
The organization that is Collaborare’s customer determines the information collected by this online application. Other than the information entered by the organization’s ContractKMS admins in the Admin section of the ContractKMS Server pages, information is also entered through the ContractKMS Client, a “COM Add-In” for Microsoft Word that is accessed through a new toolbar with a pull-down menu.
How is information collected by this online application used?
The organization that is Collaborare’s customer determines how the information collected by the online application is used. Collaborare accesses and uses that information only at the direction of the organization, subject to a few narrow exceptions. Collaborare may access, use, and disclose that information if necessary to respond to legal process, required by law, relevant to the assertion or defense of a legal claim, or believed to be appropriate to protect the rights, property, or personal safety of Collaborare or any other person.
Who shares information collected by this online application?
Information collected by this online application is shared by Collaborare with the organization that is Collaborare’s customer. That organization, and not Collaborare, determines which individuals or third parties have access to that information. Collaborare does not share that information with anyone else unless the person supplying the information explicitly consents, the organization that is Collaborare’s customer explicitly requests it, or the disclosure is in response to legal process, required by law, relevant to the assertion or defense of a legal claim, or Collaborare believes it is appropriate to protect the rights, property, or personal safety of Collaborare or any other person.
How long is information collected by this online application stored?
Information collected by this online application may be retained indefinitely.
What control do you have over how information collected by this online application is used?
The organization that is Collaborare’s customer determines what control you have over how information you provide will be used by the organization. Please contact the organization directly with any questions or concerns you may have.
Will information collected by this online application be used to send unsolicited email messages or direct mail?
Collaborare will not use information collected by this online application to send any communications other than in the ordinary course of the online application’s operation (such as sending reset or forgotten passwords), as directed by the organization that is Collaborare’s customer, or in the event of an emergency, as determined by Collaborare based on the circumstances. Collaborare will not use information collected by this online application to send unrelated commercial email (spam), and will not authorize anyone else to do so.
Does this online application use cookies?
The online application uses cookies to provide a better user experience if cookies are enabled in your browser, but cookies are not required for the application to function. These cookies do not allow anyone, including Collaborare, to track the pages you visit outside the Collaborare-soft.com domain.
How secure is this online application?
To prevent unauthorized access, maintain data accuracy, and ensure the correct use of information, Collaborare has put in place appropriate physical, electronic, and managerial procedures to safeguard and secure the information collected by this online application. No computer system can be made completley secure, especially if it connected to the Internet, but security and privacy are priorities for Collaborare.
How does Collaborare protect the privacy of children?
Protecting the privacy of the very young is especially important. For that reason, Collaborare does not collect or maintain information within this application from individuals we actually know are under 13 years old, and no part of this online application is targeted to anyone under 13. Collaborare requires the organizations that are its customers to honor this commitment, and not to knowingly accept information from, or to target the use of this online application to, anyone under 13.
What happens when there are changes in this policy?
Subject to its contractual commitments to the organizations that are its customers, Collaborare may change or alter this Privacy Policy at any time. If a change is made, Collaborare will publish the revised version of the policy at this Web address at least 7 days before the change becomes effective. We will continue to use personally identifiable information collected through this online application in accordance with the policy that was in effect when the information was collected, unless we notify you of the change by letter or email message and give you an opportunity to opt out of the change.
